Yes it has a few faults see below, but it displays well and is entirely delicious and worthy of showing off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe slightly domed lid features a wonderfully detailed hand painted scene depicting a large country house estate. We see a father and mother walking in the gardens with their two children and pet dog. A group of horse riders can be seen in the distance. The imposing house is painted in that gorgeous shade of salmon pink.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe slightly recessed base features a stunning hand painted floral spray; the attention to detail is incredible! The artist was clearly a very talented and experienced painter. The base reminds of those hand painted wares produced by Derby and Coalport during this period. Artists who specialised in botanical paintings would be employed to decorate fine vases, plates and cups.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a pretty and absolutely unique trinket, ideal for anyone who loves porcelain from this early part of the 1800s.
