We also find another envelope containing a copper plate used to print a different variation of calling card for Mr Frederick Thomas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe calling card reads ‘Mr Frederick Thomas, 19 Dickenson Street.’ Frederick Thomas was a solicitor who made up part of Messrs Thomas and Wharton, solicitors located at 19 Dickenson Street, Manchester during the 1850s to the mid-1860s. His business partner,  George Frederick Wharton (b abt. 1821 – d 1899).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFrederick Thomas was born in 1798 in Flintshire, Wales and died in Rusholme, Manchester in 1858. He was the son of Edward Thomas and Susanna Thomas and was baptised at Doddleston, Cheshire, England.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe know that during the 1840s Frederick Thomas was living at Moon Grove, Rusholme, Manchester with his wife Elizabeth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eWe know that during the 1850s Frederick Thomas was living at Birch Cottage, Rusholme, Manchester with his wife Elizabeth and servant Maria Hobson.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eElizabeth Thomas was born in 1800 in Yorkshire, England and died in Sale Green, Manchester in 1877. Elizabeth and Thomas left behind their adopted niece Susannah Robert Grange, nee Thomas (b abt. 1837).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a fascinating collecting of items, we are sure that Mr Thomas would be so pleased that they live on.
