This wonderful coloured engraving was printed in England during the early 19th century, circa 1805. The engraving is titled ‘The Mother’s Pride’ and was engraved by the Flemish engraver Anthony Cardon (b 1772 –d 1813) after a painting by the artist W. P. J. Lodder. The print has not been examined outside of the frame so we assume publishers details have been trimmed to fit the frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe engraving features a child, sat on an upturned wheelbarrow playing with their dog with the cat creeping up on them in the garden potting shed.
