The blue and white transfer printed design features a mother and her four children playing in the fields chasing a butterfly; we love the quaint cottage in the background and the painted ochre rim. This wonderful tea bowl and saucer will display excellently alongside any collection of English blue and white pottery and porcelain. It is remarkable that this item has survived some 200 plus years.
