The church was enlarged throughout the 19th century. Interestingly, Camborne was formerly one of the richest tin mining areas in the world and home to the Camborne School of Mines.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe canvas features the George Rowney \u0026amp; Co manufacturers back stamp. There were 3 grades of Rowney canvas, A, B and C, as you can see from the photo of the reverse, this was a B canvas.
