Can you imagine having a complete service in this beautiful design?\u003cbr\u003e\nWe see a deep dish of lobed design made from pure white substantial porcelain. Its supremely white body has a high gloss, glassy appearance that when combined with the luxury gilding will make it sparkle on one's dining table. Sure to impress your dining guests.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe outer rim is decorated in a luxury gilt of dentril design. We see four hand painted Billingsley roses each with 7 little green leaves. It was William Billinglsey (1758=1828) who first created this type of rose design for decoration porcelain. Billingsley worked at most of the famous porcelain factories incl Derby, Worcester, he help create Nantgarw and finished working at Coalport. Each rose is surrounded by a gilt seaweed pattern. Alternating between each rose is a different floral spray of stylized blue cornflowers with gilt leaves. This cornflower design was very popular during the 1800 to 1830 period, in particular it was popularised by Spode porcelain. To the centre of the dish is an ornate gilded border with single rose to the middle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTo the reverse of the dish is the Thomas Goode retailers oval lozenge. To the body of the porcelain are 3 impressed letters which are very hard to decipher possibly HLA, BLA??\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThomas Goode and Co were formed in London in 1827.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSize: Diameter 8 3\/4 inch ( 22.5 cm) Depth 1 1\/2 inch (3.7cm)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCondition: Free from damage or restoration. Minor rubbing the gilt edge. Rubbing to the central rose leaves.
