Charteris \u0026amp; Longleys sound liek a company from a Charles Dickens novel don't they. They were in fact Wood Block Flooring suppliers based at 31 \u0026amp; 32 King William Street, London. They were listed in the 1899 Academy Architecture directory under Wood Flooring and Paving. The building is still viewable in King William Street, London. It is a beautiful Italiante style building, that was built in 1707. It is now in the financial district of London.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe small black leather case has a white metal working slide button lock. The name and address and beautifully gilt tooled in to the leather. You slide the button down to reveal the original blue velvet lined interior.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eSize: 3 ⅞ by 5 ½ by ⅞ ( 4 cm by 5.5 cm by 2.3 cm)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCondition: Very good and sound.
