The cornucopia vase is of miniature proportions and although unmarked as was common at this time, especially on smaller items; it has been produced to an excellent quality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe exterior of the vase features two hand painted scenes, each depicting a beautiful bird on the ground. To the remaining two faces of the vase we find two intricately hand painted colorful butterflies. All very similar in quality to the pieces produced by the Wedgwood porcelain painter Aaron Steele (b 1765 – d 1849. With the buttery gilding still fresh and bright. This is such a decorative little vase with an appealing subject matter.
