He is most famous for being the leader of a revival movement within the Church of England known as Methodism. Methodist churches can be found in many of English towns and villages. Despite earlier persecution, Wesley remained within the established Church of England, insisting that the Methodist movement lay well within its tradition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThis is an extremely rare item.
