This is an early piece made during their first period of porcelain production. The pattern is known as the ‘Mother and Child’ and as the names suggest, depicts a mother sitting next to her child. Notice the amazing vases and flowers, incredible.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIt is hard to believe that this item is around 250 years old. This small plate was made during the time of the American Revolution, the Boston Massacre and of course the Boston Tea Party. It is remarkable that it has survived, obviously cherished by each and every owner since 1770s. This is the perfect antique for anyone who loves all things 18th century, or has a passion for quality English antiques.
