19th Century Bentwood Pantry Box Folk Art Rustic C 1850

This wonderful small storage box was produced from a light coloured wood during the 19th century, circa 1850, from Sweden. This Victorian bentwood box is the perfect item for a shaker, or folk-art inspired interior. The bentwood box has the most wonderful natural patina. We have not handled a box as good as this for many years, they are becoming hard to find. They are so beautifully made, this example has been produced to a high quality. We love the buckle fastening devices!

This is an all-original item, perfect for anyone who loves shaker style, folk art and country house antiques.

Measuring: Width 5 ½ inch (14 cm) by height 3 ¼ inch (8 cm). Depth 4 inch (10 cm).

Condition: Light surface wear/ drying cracks commensurate with age.
