Item Description

We are excited to have discovered for all of our neeedlework tool collectors this delightful little mid 19th century needle packet case. Made of sturdy card, covered in white taffeta effect paper. We see a book form design with gilt foil edges and gilt foil book spine. Open the front cover to reveal the interior which once held needle packet cases but now holds old cotton covered Dorset buttons. This is a charming little sewing novelty, we love the gilt pages!!

Size: 2 inch tall (5 cm)

Condition: Good with minor age associated wear and tear. An old stain to the lid interior only.
