Item Description

This delightful little child’s plate is English in origin and dates to circa 1830. The tiny plate has been produced to the highest standards. The plate features a blue and white transfer printed design depicting a basket full of flowers with a bird resting on the handle. The plate also features a decorative moulded ‘c’ scroll rococo border with a floral transfer printed design. The underside of the plate features manufacturers transfer printed mark naming the scene reading ‘Bouquet, Stone China.’

We have attributed the piece to Hicks & Meigh who were a quality ceramics manufacturer during the early 19th century.
