Item Description

This wonderful pair of genuine Staffordshire figures were produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1870. The pair are modelled as Greyhounds/Whippets on a base. The hounds have each caught a rabbit! The figures are nicely moulded with separate legs and are coloured on both sides! They are fantastic. Measuring: Width 6 ¾ inch (17 cm) by height 7 ¾ inch (19.5 cm). Depth 2 3/8 inch (6 cm).

Condition: Right hand figure has a minor shallow surface chip to foot rim. Figure on the left has a few old small chips to rear side ear.
