Item Description

This wonderful photograph was taken during the 19th century, circa 1860. The photograph features a gentleman sitting facing us, his arm resting on the side table. Notice his jacket and longer swept back hair cut with rather sharp lines, this style of hair was popular during the 1860s in America.

Measuring: Frame width 3 1/8 inch (8 cm) by height 3 5/8 inch (9.5 cm). Aperture width 2.75 inch (7 cm) by height 3.25 inch (8.3 cm).

Condition: The original frame has fading and paper loss to the exterior. Minor wobble to glass. There is darkening and oxidization to the photograph under the glass - seen around the left edge and top left and right corner. A small light patch to his left leg. General dust trapped under the glass.
