A rare find indeed from the 1820s period is this wonderful dolls chair. Original examples like this are so very scarce. This is a fabulous example of early folk art. Perfect for anyone who loves dolls and all things primitive and folk art. We love the genuine, aged crackled painted surface; it has the most incredible natural DRY patina. The chair is one of a matching pair, each sold separately.
This will make a superb chair for a special doll, miniature sampler or teddy.
Measuring: Width 4 5/8 inch (11.5 cm) by height 8 ¾ inch (22 cm). Depth 4 5/8 inch (11.5 cm).
Condition: Historic, repaired with a staple crack to back leg of chair, could be restored by the new owner. The chair is perfectly fine for seating a light weight doll. The occasional old surface chip.
