Antique Flower Plate Hand Painted Floral English Circa 1820
Item Description
We are delighted to offer this wonderful English porcelain plate which was produced in the early 19th, circa 1815. The porcelain body has a gorgeous and very subtle low relief embossing around the border. The centre of the plate features the most decorative, detailed hand painted floral spray. The gilt outer rim completes this elegant look. This decorative plate was made in England but as was so common at this time, bears no maker's mark. The plate was produced by a quality porcelain manufacture, most likely by Coalport. The plate is one of a pair, each sold separately. It is the perfect addition to your light, bright spring/summer interior.
Measuring: Diameter 8 inch (20.5 cm).
Condition: Very good, undamaged condition with minor rubbing to the edge gilding .
This is such a decorative item, a quality piece produced over 200 years ago. The perfect item for anyone collects early 19th century pottery and porcelain. Please see our collection of Georgian and Regency ceramics listed separately in our store.
