This gorgeous face screen is a work of art. It has retained its original carved giltwood and ebonised handle. The thick card screen has a hand painted rural scene of a mother and daughter outside of their country cottage. We love the detailing of the thatched roof, red brick chimney and leaded light window. The small girl plays on a swing attached to the oak tree while mother makes her self busy stitching while keeping an eye on little one.
