This delightful Staffordshire figure was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1870. The figure is modelled as a cow and a farmer. The figure is in fact a creamer! A Staffordshire cow creamer is a whimsical jug shaped like a standing cow. The figure is nicely detailed with separate legs and lots of hand colouring.
Measuring: Width 9 ½ inch (24 cm) by height 7 ½ inch (19.5 cm). Depth 2 ¾ inch (7 cm).
Condition: A few old chips to cows’ ears. Minor hairline to base rim and to the cow’s front leg.
