Item Description

We are delighted to offer this wonderful large snuff box.

We see two male and female figures in the foreground including a cow herder with horn, in the background are beautiful ruins with distant mountains beyond. A very typical scene that you would find in artworks throughout the 17th and 18th century.

Size: 4 1/8 inch diameter ( 10.5 cm) by just under 1 inch tall (2.5 cm)

Condition: Good sound and stable condition, with minor age related wear to the circular edges. Old professional restoration to outer side edge, not visible just a slight roughness to the touch. Lid fits snugly as it should.
