Regency Miniature Porcelain Scent Bottle/ Bud Vase Hand painted Floral Octagonal C 1815 AF
Item Description
This delightful miniature porcelain item started life as a scent bottle, now lacking its stopper it makes for a super little bud vase. Produced in England during the early 19th century, circa 1815 this item is of octagonal form with a tapered neck and features the most vibrant hand painted floral sprays. We love the way in which the bright pink roses and purple Auricula have been painted. The neck of the vase features a solid green ground with an alternating pink and white striped pattern. This is a really pretty and unusual piece by a quality maker. The vase will display excellently in any setting, the perfect addition to your Georgian/federal porcelain collection.
Measuring: Diameter 3.25 inch (8 cm) by height 3.25 inch (8.5 cm).
Condition: Light surface wear to gilded rims, historic firing fault to top rim. Missing its stopper.
