Item Description

This delightful creamware plate was produced in England during the 18th century, circa 1780. The plate was manufactured by Neale & Co and features a hand-coloured transfer printed design of a large sailing ship. The rim features a decorative monochrome transfer printed floral design.

This is a quality piece of 18th century ceramics. The plate features the impressed ‘Neale & Co’ manufactures mark. This is the perfect item for anyone who has a connection to the sea, anyone who loves early British ceramics.

Measuring: Width 9 5/8 inch (24.5 cm).

Condition: Not perfect with amateur level restoration as shown in the images, the restoration is extremely strong and stable but not the prettiest we have seen which is reflected in the price. Hairline to rim.
