Vintage Original 1920s Miniature Composition Sailor Doll Hummel Goebel Lenci Style

A very sweet little hand painted composition doll from the 1930 period. He is similar in style to the Hummel Goebel or Lenci mascotte dolls from this era. This small chap comes complete with all original wool knitted clothing. He wears a turquoise wool sailor suit with matching woollen hat. His auburn hair is real human hair. No makers mark s to be seen but his clothing is stitched on. Composition fixed head, soft body with soft joint composition lower arms and lower hand painted composition legs. Complete with vintage Kaiser doll stand.

Size: 5.75" tall

Condition: His hands may have been restored as they look a little chunky. His wool clothing is faded with a split to his front trouser leg. When peeping under his rear sailor's yolk, for accuracy, there is a crack to his head plate around the neck, not noticeable unless one pulls down his collar a little.
