Item Description

There is something so tactile about wooden items that have stood the test of time. They accrue a lovely warm colouring and patina that is soo soft to the touch.

This fabulous wooden money box was produced in England during the late 19th century, circa 1890 to 1900 period. The money box is modelled as a single story cottage and unusually features a coloured transfer printed scene to the centre. The scene depicts a jockey riding a racehorse. This is the perfect item for anyone who loves folk art and or anyone who loves horses!

Measuring: Width 5 7/8 inch (15 cm) by height 4 7/8 inch (12.5 cm). Depth 4 1/8 inch (10.5 cm).

Condition: Lightest of surface wear commensurate with age.
