19th Century English Porcelain Miniature Toy Jug Doll Sauce Boat Creamer Circa 1820
Item Description
This delightful miniature porcelain jug or sauce boat was produced in Staffordshire, England during the 19th century, circa 1820. The sauce boat was produced as a toy for a lucky child, possibly to be used as an accessory for a larger doll. The exterior of the sauce boat features a selection of hand painted fruit including, cherries, grapes and an apple.
Measuring: Width 3.5 inch (9 cm) by height 2.25 inch (6 cm). Depth 2 inch (5 cm).
The item is in good condition, a minor firing fault to the bottom of the handle.
This is a rare and decorative item that was produced in the early 19th century, the perfect item for a special doll or a collector of toy porcelain.
