Item Description
The perfect small size art work for your English inspired country interior. Housed in its original lemon gilt frame, behind old glass, this cutie is delectable. It was painted around the 1820 to 1840 period, when most ladies of leisure could paint very well. The subject matter is a twin handled porcelain vase filled with freshly picked garden blooms. We see a rose, aster and convolvulus.
Size: Framed 8 inch tall by 6 1/2 inch wide (20 cm by 16.5 cm)
Condition: General age darkening to the paper, fading to the rose. Old chips and flakes to the lemon gilt frame to expose under Gesso.
