This wonderful little pencil drawing was drawn in England during the 19th century, circa 1860. The drawing features a sketch of a man walking along the edge of a lake within a country estate. There is a boat house surrounded by trees. What an idyllic little scene. The drawing is housed behind glass in a period correct frame that has been reduced in size to fit his drawing.
Measuring: Frame width 4 5/8 inch (12 cm) by height 4 ¼ inch (11 cm). Aperture width 2 ¾ inch (7.5 cm) by height 2 ½ inch (6.5 cm).
Condition: Light surface wear commensurate with age.
