19th Century Naïve Bird Watercolor Folk Art Primitive C 1860
Item Description
This fantastic watercolour painting of a bird was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1860. The painting is on paper/card and features and exotic bird landing in a bush with a pink flower. The painting is naïve in style and is perfect for anyone who loves early folk art. The painting is housed in a decorative matt behind glass in its original beaded gesso gilt frame! Wonderful folk art from over 150 years ago!

Measuring: Frame width 7 5/8 inch (19.5 cm) by height 6 ¼ inch (16 cm). Aperture width 3 ½ inch (9 cm) by height 2 ¾ inch (7.5 cm).
Condition: Some minor staining to the mount. Light surface wear to frame. All commensurate with age.
