Item Description

We are excited to have discovered this gorgeous French treasure for you. Dating to the 1840 period this would have started life as part of a Palais Royal sewing box. The box probably was damaged at some point and this wooden, paper lined inner compartment tray was saved. Thank goodness because it now makes for a wonderful stand alone compartmentalized tray to hold all manner of treasures. It is all 100% original, don't you just love this duck egg blue/green gold polka dot paper lining with gilt Dresden paper edgings?? We have shown it displayed with some antique sewing tools, please note they are NOT included, just for display ideas.

Size:8 13/16 inch long, 2 11/16 inch deep, 12/16 inch tall (22.5 cm by 7 cm by 1.8 cm)

Condition: Good, all original sound condition.

You will have such fun deciding what to display inside of those 13 x little compartments:)
