Item Description

This charming little Victorian Staffordshire figure was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1870. The figure is modelled as a spaniel dog and features the most wonderful black spatter ware, underglaze sponged decoration. Notice also his little yellow collar! This is the perfect figure for anyone who loves dogs. Please see his brown partner, listed separately.

Measuring: Width 2 ¾ inch (7 cm) by height 4 ¼ inch (11 cm). Depth 2 inch (5 cm).

Condition: Minor old chip to mouth. Minor area of touch up to left ear, barley visible. Perfectly stable shallow old hairline that runs from the left ear down ridge of spine.
