A show stopping Regency period tea bowl and matching saucer from around 1815. If you love your rarer blue and white patterns from the early 1800 period, this set delivers as the print quality and pearlware glaze is tip top quality..

This delightful tea bowl and saucer was produced in England during the early 19th century, circa 1815. The tea bowl and saucer features a detailed blue and white transfer printed bacchanalian scene. This style of ancient classical scene was popular during the first quarter of the 19th century, all of those young adults returning from their Grand Tours of Europe influencing the taste in ceramics, furniture and the arts.

Measuring: Tea bowl diameter 3 ¼ inch (8 cm) by height 1 7/8 inch (5 cm). Saucer diameter 5 ¼ inch (13.5 cm).

Condition: Natural crazing to underside of saucer, two very minor vertical hairlines to underside of saucer rim. Shallow manufacturing fault to foot rim which is under the glaze.
