Item Description

A beautiful, near enough life size silk shoe designed pincushion from the last throws of the Victorian era. This gorgeous, slightly worn pincushion makes for a stunning addition to your sewing, or shelf display...see last images for inspiration.

Made of silk covered card with gilt metal brandings, we love the silk rushed pincushion top that is padded with wool.

Size: 3 3/4 inch tall (9 cm) by 6 i/2 inch long (17 cm)

Condition: Faded grandeur for sure. The silk body has age darkening. Missing beads and spangles to the toe. Broken glass buttons x 3. The gilt metal braid is a little loose around the base of the shoe. The rushed silk top has perished in areas to show the real wool padding.

However it has charm and faded elegance by the bucket load....you will love it we guarantee.
