Item Description
This charming child’s copper lustre mug was made in England during the 19th century, circa 1840. This small early Victorian mug features the most wonderful copper lustre glaze with a puce transfer printed design titled ‘The Little Jockey.’ The design features a little girl riding her beloved pet Newfoundland/St Bernard Dog in a rural setting. This is a wonderful piece of early Victorian English pottery. Perfect for anyone who loves early nursery ware or dogs!
Measuring: Width including handle 3 ¼ inch (8 cm) by height 2 3/8 inch (6 cm).
Condition: Old chip to top rim near handle otherwise very good.
