Item Description
This delightful miniature toy porcelain jug was produced by Coalport during the early 19th century, circa 1820. This tiny jug features extensive gilt decoration on a rich cobalt blue ground, to the centre is a detailed hand painted floral spay with the most wonderful pink rose as the centrepiece of the design.
Measuring: Width 1.75 inch (4.5 cm) by height 2 1/8 inch (5.5 cm). Depth 2 inch (5 cm).
Condition: There is a teeny flea bite to the spout and some minor wear to the gilt decoration.
This is a fine piece of English porcelain, one of a harlequin pair, each sold separately see TA11854R. This piece also displays beautifully with the antique miniature Coalport bowl seen in last image, item TA11820A.
