Item Description

This stunning engraving was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1810. The engraving features a mother and child at the well. The mother can be seen holding a cornucopia of flowers and the child is holding a basket of flowers. The engraving is housed behind its original glass in its original gilt gesso frame. This deep-set frame is one of the best we have handled, it is incredible!

Measuring: Frame width 9 inch (23 cm) by height 8 1/8 inch (20.5 cm). Frame depth 2 inch (5 cm). Aperture width 5 inch (13 cm) by height 4 inch (10.5 cm).

Condition: A few minor chips to the gesso, light surface wear commensurate with age.
