Antique Georgian Miniature Cut Glass Scent Bottle Cornucopia English C 1810 Regency Pendant
Item Description
If you adore teeny, tiny antique treasures then you will love this minuscule chatelaine scent bottle. Just one from a single owner collection, each for sale separately, see last image.
This delightful little miniature scent bottle was made in England during the 19th century, circa 1810. The glass scent bottle is modelled as a cornucopia (horn of plenty) with an unmarked sterling silver lid including integral bale and sterling silver jump ring. The curved body is beautifully cut with geometric patterns that catch the light wonderfully. This is the perfect item for anyone who loves miniatures. Also will look fabulous on a silver chain for any Regency period lover to wear for special occasions perhaps the bottle to hold a small sponge slivver/cotton swab drenched in you favourite scent?
Measuring: Height incl bale/ring 1 ¾ inch (4.5 cm) by Width ¼ inch (1 cm). Depth 3/8 inch (1.5 cm).
Condition: Light surface wear, a few minor stress tears to silver lid. Missing its internal glass stopper (can you imagine how small that was...easily misplaced over time).
