Item Description
A super small little genuine antique strawberry emery pincushion for your antique wire basket, or sewing box. Dating from the late 1800s these tiny beadwork emeries were traditionally filled with emery powder to sharpen and clean your pins and needles to keep them rust free.
Shaped like a plump strawberry with graded red wool knitted body adorned with teeny yellow glass pips. Its top again knitted from green wool. We have paired it with a brass thimble in the image to show scale only, not included.
All other sewing tools in last images are available individually, and are not included with this purchase.
Size: 1 inch tall (2.5 cm)
Condition: Sound but showing wear. Possible missing yellow beads. The green knitted top has one frond loose, an easy fix with a stitch. The top stalk shortened with age.
