A charming 19th century miniature child's scissor case, sewing companion with internal needlebook.
Dating to the second half of the 19th century this Victorian sewing companion is delightful. We see a brown leather outer case which holds the leather covered scissors to one side. The other side has an internal leather pocket which holds the matching leather needlecase with wool/flannel leaves. Sandwiched between to two faces is a blue silk pinkeep/pincushion. Complete with top brass hanger.
A super sweet example, perfect for your sewing box or to hand from the chatelaine of a favourite antique doll.
Size: 2 3/8 inch ( 6 cm) by 1 1/2 inch (4 cm)
Condition: Good with gentle signs of wear and age to the leather. One tiny hole to the side of the leather.
