Antique Miniature Toy Mug Floral Lustre Folk Art Children’s China C 1820

This is such a sweetie. It is soooo small. This very charming toy size miniature floral lustre mug was made in England circa 1820. The mug is of toy size proportions; this is the smallest available size. The mug features a hand enamelled floral design with an interior and exterior band of pink lustre. This is an uncommon size and a rare survivor. We love the little fan handle. It is remarkable that this piece has survived some 200 years.

Measuring: Width including handle 2 ¾ inch (7 cm) by height 2 1/8 inch (5.3 cm).

Condition: Small chip to rim, further chip to rim with associated hairline. A few minor shallow surface chips to rim.
