Antique Regency Painting Portrait Miniature Gentleman Circa 1810 AF

This finely painted portrait miniature was painted in England during the early 19th century, circa 1810. The watercolour portrait features a Regency era gentleman in profile view. The painting is of the highest quality and is painted in the most tiny, fine, brush strokes. This is an incredible detailed little painting. The painting is on card/paper and is housed behind its original convex glass in its original papier mache frame.

Measuring: Frame width 4 7/8 inch (12.5 cm) by height 5 ¾ inch (15 cm). Aperture width 2 ¼ inch (6 cm) by height 2 ¾ inch (7 cm).

Condition: Light surface wear to frame commensurate with age. A tear to the paper at 4 and 9 o’ clock both perfectly stable.
