Item Description
This charming little antique egg holder was made in England during circa 1870. This very sweet Staffordshire pottery egg holder is modelled as a mother hen sat in a wicker basket. What a lovely little item this is, we love the mix of glazes. We see browns, yellow and green. This is the perfect decorative antique for a primitive or farmhouse style kitchen. The holder will comfortable hold two eggs. We have three in store all from the same previous owner, each retailed separately.
Measuring: Width 5 ¼ inch (13.5 cm) by height 4 1/8 inch (10.5 cm).
Condition: Light surface wear commensurate with age. Minor chip and associated hairline to interior rim
