Antique Wooden Music Box Dated 1914 Chromolithograph Young Boy Fully Working

We do love anything mechanical, or anything musical. We guarantee that you will be charmed by this adorable little Edwardian music box. To the top of the wooden box we see an applied coloured chromolithograph print of a young boy. The metal winder crank type handle with its original white glass finial is part of the top too. Just place the box on an even surface and turn the handle clockwise. Placing it on a table helps the sound resonate. You will hear two delightful tunes, or airs that will transport you back to the year 1914 when this was gifted. Perhaps given by a soldier to a younger sibling when going to enlist for the first world war in 1914?Also to the base is a period correct picture of a street performer with his wind up toy, his little pet dog assisting by stood up on his hind legs while holding a cap in his mouth for donations.
