Miniature London Almanac 1858 1" tall Leather Doll Size Almanack Book AF

This scarce and decorative mid 19th century miniature pocked sized almanac dates to 1858. It is worn but complete, with some of the 21 page contents, loose, please study our many images as they are an accurate indicator of condition, we have photographed each page. Condition is reflected in the price.
The London Almanac broke a record for the longest running published Almanac in this size. This charming little almanac is bound in dark maroon leather in an envelope wallet binding with flap.... we just love the gilt edged pages.

The interior has an integral inner pocket at the front. There is an dedication inscription to the front for H.A.Rooke from E.J.H. Title page 'London Almanac For The Year Of Christ 1858'. The remaining contents give Eclipses, a calendar for the upcoming year, Regal Table, Royal Family, Great Officers of State, Court of the Lord mayor and Aldermen, Table of Stamps, Transfer days at The Bank. Further inscriptions to the final end papers again for H.A.R giving dates that he left and travelled to India including dates that he was passed/promoted to LT, Lieutenant, Ensign etc.

Measuring: 1 1/4” (31 mm) by 1 1/4 inch (31 mm). Depth 2/8” (7 mm).

Condition: Exterior good. Interior detached. This is the perfect item for anyone who collects the unusual, it would also make the perfect accessory for a larger doll.
