This incredible child’s nursery ware mug was made in England during the early 19th century, circa 1820. If you love mochaware or early redware this will fit right in with your collection. We have been collecting nursery ware mugs for years and have not seen another like this! The mug features transfer printed text reading ‘A Present For Ann’ on the most wonderful blue ground upon a glazed stoneware type body. The mug even features a little feathered handle. The mug has been produced to the highest quality, it displays excellently. The mug would have been given to a well-behaved child called Ann. Such mugs are now highly collectible, and this is one of the best examples that we have seen!
This is the perfect item for anyone who collects early nursery ware, anyone with a special Ann in their life.
