Item Description

This is the perfect antique artwork for the animal lover. This wonderful small oil on canvas painting was painted in England during the 19th century, circa 1870. The Victorian period oil painting is on canvas and features a black and tan puppy sat next to a white kitten with a blue collar. The puppy is sat on an artist’s palette and the cat is sat in a coal box. The painting is titled verso ‘Mischievous models.’ How apt! Original Victorian paintings like these are now incredibly hard to find and are highly sought after.
