Item Description

We are delighted to offer you this superb little porcelain grouping from 1840s England. The porcelain figure was produced in the county of Staffordshire. The figure depicts a mischievous cat and a poodle dog with a Lion cut, the dog chasing the cat who has caught a bird! This is a sought after figure, the perfect item for anyone who loves cats, dogs and early Staffordshire figures.

Measuring: Width 2 inch (5 cm) by height 2 1/8 inch (5.5 cm).

Condition: The bird is missing his head, minor perfectly stable hairline to cats head. Restoration to poodles tail. A few little fleabites to base rim. Nothing that you would not expect from a genuine nearly 200 yrs old figure.
