19th Century Staffordshire Figure Plain White Lady Fruit Basket and Bird C 1870
Item Description
This rare and decorative Staffordshire figure was produced in England during the 19th century, circa 1870. This is a highly unusual figure; we cannot currently find another like it! The finely moulded figure features a girl holding a basket of fruit/nuts in one hand and a little bird in the other. What makes this figure particularly unusual is that is uncoloured. The figure is glazed but was never coloured. This creates a standout piece. Something different. It really is a beautifully made figure!
