Item Description

This is an extremely rare Staffordshire figure! We are pleased to present this amazing Staffordshire figure of a dog AND a cat! To find the two together in one figure is so uncommon. The dog is a traditional Staffordshire spaniel in brown and white. The cat is a yellow and black cat decorated with sponge wear decoration. This is a genuine figure that was produced in Staffordshire during the 19th century, circa 1870. This is the perfect item for anyone who loves cats and dogs. Measuring: Width 4 inch (10 cm) by height 6 ½ inch (16.5 cm). Depth 2 ½ inch (6.5 cm).

Condition: Very good. There is a minor old drying fault to 1 inch long section of spine, perfectly stable from manufacturing. A few minor old surface level under glaze drying faults, which is to be expected on a genuine figure.
